Holiday near Aberystwyth - 1965
We shared a house called Glan-yr-Afon with
Mr. & Mrs. Hitchings. It was right on the coast a few miles south of Aberystwyth.
The Austin A40 car shown had been rented by
Malcolm and
Anne; it broke down several times.
Also sitting on the doorstep above are
Leslie,
Vera and
Rosemary Knight.
The beach wasn’t particularly good, more mud than sand. Whales were occasionally seen offshore.
Anne tried her best to get a tan…
…while Malcolm tried just as successfully to develop some muscles.
