Watching the world go by not to mention a succession of
driving school pupils who used the straight and relatively junction free Connaught Road to
practice their three point turns. This became something of a nuisance but a
commentary from an audience proved to be an effective deterrent.
The garden on the right was not ours, Wisley or similar which
Gran and
Grandad were fond of visiting.
Grandad’s Austin 1300 and a visit to his bungalow around the corner…
…where Gran had thoughtfully provided a swing.
