Mewsbrook Park, Littlehampton - Easter 2004
The foolhardy pretend that summer has arrived
We took a trip on the miniature railway to Mewsbrook Park, Littlehampton. The train was new and
brought into service the previous day. To prove it
Rosemary came home with red paint on her clothes.
After freezing our nether regions by sitting on a stone wall
some bright spark thought an ice cream would be a good idea.
Common sense eventually prevailed and we took the train back to the car park. There was a time when
this train was steam hauled and cost sixpence. Now it is pulled by a smelly diesel engine and the
return fare for three costs approximately the same as a cheap flight to the Mediterranean.
