Sunday 24th April 2005

The last service by East Ham’s favourite vicar followed by a meal out

After the final service the congregation of St. Paul’s Church East Ham linger for tea and biscuits and most important of all, a good chinwag.
The vicar, Jeremy Allcock, says goodbye to his large congregation and gives Olive, its oldest female member, a special hug. Actually he seemed to give nearly everyone a hug!
Afterwards we took the Metropolitan Line to pick up Kirsty and Alastair and off we went to the South Bank for dinner at Gabriel’s Wharf.
