RAF Activities In India

1945/46

Several of these photographs are noted as being taken in Palam in December 1945 or the following January. Leslie used to speak of being in Delhi and the atlas confirms that Palam is not very far away. It is now the major base of the Indian Air Force, and it is probable that all these photographs were taken in or around Delhi.
Pictures of local landmarks and people are also available.
