Little is known of the Jane’s female surviving triplet. It is
believed that she married and then divorced. Then lived unmarried with Les
living an itinerant life in a caravan before eventually settling at Little
Dunmow, Essex. Dolly may have had as many as 12 children though it isn’t known
who or how many were by her first partner. Three of the children were
Leslie (the first born),
Daphne and Doris.
Will Townsend, in 1985 said that “Doll
died a while ago’ and Evelyn thought she’d have been 50 at the time putting the
date of death close to 1970. She died from complications arising after
discharging herself too early from hospital following surgery for a hernia.
