William Hawton

This will could be that of William Hawton, father John Hawton born 1552. It is possible that John Hawten was the great great great grandfather of Hugh Hotten who heads this site.

The £. s. d. is shown with Roman numerals. An ‘yvell’ was a three pronged pitch fork.
