Testimonial

COUNTY BOROUGH OF WEST HAM
EDUCATION DEPARMENT
TESTIMONIAL

Shipman Road Boys’ School
Custom House. E16.
August 1932

Leslie Knight joined the school eighteen months ago having previously resided in Burmah.

He was then naturally at a great disadvantage as compared with other boys; but by keen and persistent application to work and games, though with no special ability at the latter, he has become a leader and outstanding boy, and has won the character prize on a vote of the class mates.

He has made a steady advance in all school work, and has become especially good at handicraft.

He has carried appreciation of the School-boy Code of Honour, and expresses it in his actions.

He is deserving of the highest possible testimonial as to his character.

Signed
C.W. Reynolds
Headmaster
