Tiny Tots -1970

The event of 1970 was of course the arrival of Kirsteen (a.k.a. Kirsty) on 7th February. The pictures taken immediately after Kirsty arrived home were in black and white and as yet the negatives have failed to show up. The images below are from not particularly good prints. A small number of colour slides were also taken but fortunately Grandad was more generous with his use of film and Rosemary was busy with her Instamatic too.

No photographs were taken in Farnham Hospital because they managed to effectively lose Kirsty for several days by putting her in a room reserved for premature babies, which at nearly 9lbs she wasn’t. Mother wasn’t allowed to see her at all until the third day. Few words of criticism for Farnham Hospital could be too severe.
