The xylophone was presumably a Christmas present and the wallpaper and carpet reveals that this is Grans bungalow in Aldershot Road again. Mother is looking rather broader in the beam than usual.
Second birthday.
Our front garden and Grans patio.
Now we have our own swing but the lawn seems to have taken second place to the patio project. The garden was prone to water-logging from the leaking canal overflow system and required extensive drainage. That is my excuse anyway.
The Basingstoke canal towpath just East of the Reading Road bridge and on the right, playing King of the Castle to the West of the same
bridge, an area of open space once used for fairgrounds and community events but no doubt long since built over by short sighted vandals working for Hart council.
