The bus owners wanted to photograph two buses out on the road together so we accompanied them on a short ride to the outskirts of Alton where we parked, not very sensibly from a photographer’s point of view, in bright sunshine but partly shaded by trees. The local residents had waited a year for a number 14 to come along and then two came along at once. Actually a third appeared a few minutes later.
